This is the best place to visit on a weekend drive for lunch or some cold beverages! Outstanding food with the best selection of beer anywhere. The outside seating lets you enjoy the weather and the newly expanded indoor seating allows a different option if the weather isn't great. The entire staff here is friendly and go out of their way to make food and drinks the experience here the best! Highly recommend The Station!

We first attempted to hit another , but they had a long wait list, so we drove over to this one (yay to having a friend that was born here) :). They were busy, but plenty of tables, inside or out and the weather was , omg perfect this weekend, w0w, so lovely. You kind of order at the bar "order" area and they give you a number, you find a table and they find you. I had their grilled cheese, guess it's a favorite and it was nice, really enjoyed it (didn't really need the carbs, but hey most of it was cheese, which is a okay!). Got their tots and they were perfectly cooked, good crisp bite with a soft inside. We got the boom boom tots and ya they have some flavor!!!!, great cooked tot, great sauce, def something to not pass up on. Friends had the cubans, they were a bit less than stellar, not bad, just not great, they were missing something, maybe it's the extra oil that oozes out of a Cuban or something, one had garlic fries, the other standard fries, and they needed to be cooked longer, def not as well cared for when preparing as the tots were, that is fer sure! Got a bit windy so we moved inside and had another beer. OH! folks there are super happy, totally chill, ready to take your order and make sure you are taken care of. So it's nice that a staff seems to enjoy their job, where they work etc. Great place with great outdoor seating options and a nice menu backed by a small handful of daily specials. OH!!! I didn't have a beer, I had their lemonade and it was good, it was actually Lemonade, not a lemon spritzd water, really enjoyable!

Good food and plenty of drink options, the service line is handled quickly so you the wait isn't terrible.

First time visit, on a sunny Saturday at 11:00, right after they opened. Pros: -Terrific outdoor seating area. Huge patio with a couple of levels, lots of picnic-table style seating along with bar-style counter seating. We did have to move tables due to some screaming kids that sat at the table next to us (even though the place was 90% empty at the time). -Good service. Seat yourself, order at the bar and they bring the food to your table. Bartender/order-taker was very friendly. -Excellent food (but see below)- my crispy chicken sandwich was maybe the best I've ever had anywhere. Chicken breast cooked perfectly with a light crunchy coating, bacon was crispy, aioli was delicious, just a perfect sandwich. Cons: -Wife's Thai noodle salad was just OK. It was overdressed, and would have been better served on some greens. As it was, it would work more as a side dish than a main. Verdict: - We'll be back for sure, the outdoor dining area is very nice but be aware there are lots of small kids, many with inadequate parental supervision. And the place fills up fast-- empty when we arrived at 11:00, but almost full up with a line to the bar when we left around noon. (Dogs are welcome too.)

Made a quick stop while traveling back to Reno from the bay area. Lots of tap options, I appreciated the one cider option. Shared an order of seasoned fries and they were well-made with good dips. We sat outside - the space is huge! And it's a very dog-friendly outdoor patio, lots of dogs!

Service was great and helped me with my selection since this was my first time there. We had the banh mi sandwich, I loved it. My husband had the tater tots, he wasn't too impressed. We sat outside, had a group with us and worked out well. They kept it warm with heaters.

This is a wonderful restaurant located in Auburn, CA by many little shops and other restaurants too which makes it a prime location. The food is delicious and the service is great; nice friendly and personable servers. For the vegetarians, I recommend the tofu sandwich; so delicious and they also offer a variety of both non alcoholic drinks like ice tea and lemonade and alcoholic beverages too like their tap beers. The ambience is casual and the restaurant offers both outdoor and indoor seating and televisions too so you can watch sporting events while you eat. Love this place. Recommend.

This is not the kind of place you find if you're rushing through Auburn on I-80. You either stumble in to it accidentally or someone tells you about it. We walked by it a month ago while shopping in Old Town and thought it looked cool, with a huge outdoor patio. Today we were back in Auburn and needed a place for lunch. There's a good menu with a lot of varied selections. In particular there were a couple of good vegetarian options. I had the Ultimate Burger, which is a half pound burger with traditional fixings on a brioche bun. The side of tots was enough to fee Napoleon Dynamite for a week. My partner had the Grilled Tofu sandwich, which is essentially served burger style, but with slabs of grilled tofu rather than a "veggie burger". Her side said was huge with a lot of nice things tossed in besides greens. Everything tasted great. The beer selection is awesome with 40 on tap. The selection was widely varied, not overly focused on IPAs and sours. Clint was our server today. He was super helpful but not pushy. We like that.
